The Wesley College women's soccer team received a Silver Team Ethics Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Wolverines were just one of 45 men's or women's programs in all divisions of the NCAA and NAIA to receive a Silver Award. Teams with fewer than five yellow cards and no red cards qualified for the Silver Award. The Gold Award was given to just nine programs who received no cards during the 2009 season.
Wesley went 7-10 during the 2009 regular season, playing with a roster that included 16 freshmen, and advanced to the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs.
